This document sets out the policies followed by Overseas Chinese Club (OCC) Hong Kong. Our policy is to not obtain or retain any personally identifiable information concerning you without first asking you to provide such information. Of course, you may choose to send us information of your own accord. Should you choose to send OCC an email or other documentation with personally identifiable information, whether as an application for employment or an inquiry for further information, or otherwise, such information shall be used only for the internal purposes of OCC and shall be retained for as long as deemed necessary by OCC acting according to advice from its professional advisers.
OCC assumes no obligation to reply to unsolicited email or other communications of any sort and assumes no obligation to archive or retain personal information for any period of time or at all.
If at any time you wish to inquire as to the status of any personally identifiable information you believe you have sent to OCC, or if you wish to advise us of changes or updates to your information, or if you have any other question relating to what information we have with respect to you, please send an email to info@occlub.org. In the subject line, please put the words "Personal Information Inquiry".
OCC must and does reserve the right to cooperate with local, region, and governmental officials in any investigation lawfully requiring either personally identifiable information, including any personal information provided to us by you, or information obtained by the operation of the server and software and contained in logs or similar files on our system.
This Privacy Statement, together with our Legal Terms of Use sets forth the entire agreement, contract and understanding between you and OCC.
Please note that we reserve the right to modify our Privacy Statement and the policies we follow in the future. In the event that we wish to disclose any personally identifiable information concerning you to anyone outside OCC, except as required by court order or related process, we will first seek and obtain your consent before doing so.
