Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting our clients field sales efforts by:
- Identifying customer and prospect technical and business problems
- Developing and delivering presentations in electronic and white board formats applying our clients products and services to those business and technical problems
- Developing and delivering business focused product presentations to executive level audiences in large customer organisations
- Public speaking and evangelising about our client・s Product set at large seminars and events
- Developing and delivering responses to customer and prospect technical inquiries, including RFPs and RFIs
- Initial architectural discussion and application design
- Persuasively articulate customer needs with Product Engineering and Development
- Mentoring and providing guidance within the SE Organisation
- Researching and developing technical solutions to customers・ problems
- Briefing IT Press and IT Analysts about our client・s Product set
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the software field
- J2EE knowledge and experience is required
- Experience with a modern programming language such as C, C++ and Java
- Minimum 5 years experience as an SE
- Minimum 5 years of application architecture experience
- IBM Mainframe experience is desirable, in particular with MVS/CICS or MVS/IMS
- Experience of working in or with an enterprise IT department in a large organization
- Experience in press and analyst briefing
- Excellent communication skills, especially presentation skills
Desired Knowledge and Skills
- Hands-on knowledge of Middleware technologies such as transaction management software, message queuing middleware, object request brokers, modeling and development tools, and database management systems
- Distributed systems experience in application design, development and deployment
- Understanding of computer networking and network programming
- Ability to articulate our client・s values to senior management
- Strong technical problem solving skills
- High degree of self-motivation, self-management and professionalism
- Experience with more than one programming language is desirable
- Ability to work independently
- Be a customer advocate
